We are dutiful to comply with the requirements of BS EN ISO 14001:2015 to ensure all services provided by ATS Plastics Ltd services are delivered using working practices that meet the requirements of all environmental stakeholders. ATS Plastics Ltd are also committed to continually improving its environmental performance and sustainable development.
ATS Plastics Ltd utilise an IT based Company Management System (CMS), hosted by ATS Ltd to define the required scope of environmental management through the business.
At a strategic level:
- Plan and implement a cohesive business strategy and Environmental Management System with careful environmental consideration for all stakeholders and interested parties. This shall include the setting of strategic priorities and environmental objectives (Key Performance Indicators – KPIs).
- To ensure the growth of the business is developed in a sustainable manner, with the lowest possible level of negative impact on the environment.
- Be committed to continuous improvement at a strategic level by regular review & analysis of the objectives set.
- Invest in our people to ensure committed and high performing teams capable of delivering the environmental performance and consideration towards the environment expected.
Throughout our operations:
- Ensure all activities we carry out comply with all appropriate legal, legislative and industry regulations.
- Meet the requirements and expectations of our customers on every project we undertake.
- Ensure all personnel understand our commitment to the environment and are committed to continuous improvement.
- Ensure our workforce work with a conscious regard for the environment.
- Invest time and effort in effectively managing our supply chain to ensure the environmental standards we set and promise to our clients are delivered and the contents of this policy are known by all subcontractors and suppliers.
- Ensure our people are trained to carry out their work effectively to meet environmental requirements and business objectives.
- Minimise waste, prevent pollution and conserve energy and natural resources.
- Seeks to use the most environmentally efficient methods of transport.
- Whenever required, uses registered waste disposal companies or licensed tips for the disposal of waste, particularly hazardous materials.
- Maintain clean and tidy work sites to ensure minimum inconvenience to clients.
The Company Management System aims to provide all stakeholders with assurance that we can meet the required environmental requirements. The implementation of ATS’s Environmental Management System will be continuously reviewed at regular focussed management review meetings. These meetings will be held quarterly following publication of the KPI data.
The Environmental Policy will be reviewed regularly (minimum annual basis) and any changes made will be communicated to our employees and other appropriate interested parties.
This policy statement applies to all employees of ATS and subsidiary companies.
